Hello everyone! Thanks for having me. I've been living and working in Prague for a long time, and I'm excited to join this community. I run a boutique driving school called Spektra, specifically designed for expats. I'm here not only to offer our premium training but also to be a resource for anyone struggling with the local driving rules or paperwork. I believe that clear communication in English is key to feeling safe on Czech roads. Happy to connect with you all! .

Unlike many other driving schools, with me you will always have a direct, personal connection from the very beginning . You will speak with me right from your first inquiry, and we can even meet for coffee at your favorite café to discuss your expectations and how you envision your training. Throughout the entire process—from the initial meeting, through all theory lessons and practical driving sessions, to the final exams— we will work together as friends and equal partners . This personal, consistent approach is what truly distinguishes my driving school from the traditional, impersonal experience offered elsewhere.

Meet Your Instructor

My name is Roman Antel, and I am a certified driving instructor and teacher with a passion for delivering top-tier training . At 45 years old, I bring a wealth of experience from my 15-year career with the elite unit of the Czech Police, where I was deployed on international peacekeeping missions in the Balkans and the Middle East. These experiences have equipped me to provide professional, high-level instruction — a significant advantage compared to many other driving schools.

Having worked in international teams, I have developed strong empathy and perspective, allowing me to understand and respond to the unique needs of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds . I always strive to find common ground and communicate effectively. Additionally, I spent four years living in the UK, where I completed training at an English driving school for both category B vehicles and lorries. This has given me a deep understanding of the quality and professionalism required by Western standards , which I bring to every lesson.
